Job Description
We're looking for a Business Developer who's comfortable owning a feature end to end, from the database schema to the button a user clicks. You'll build web apps, internal tools, and automations that keep our business (and our clients') running, and you'll have real say in how things get built.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager/Developer who has a strong network, loves tech and AI automation, and knows how to build relationships and close deals.
What you'll do:
- Build web applications: Design, build, and maintain web apps and internal business tools that people actually rely on day to day.
- Improve our portals and dashboards: Extend client-facing dashboards and interactive portals, and craft clean, modern UI components.
- Write the backend: Build fast, secure APIs and backend services that hold up under real use.
- Integrate third-party tools: Connect external apps, SaaS platforms, and internal systems so everything works together smoothly.
- Automate the busywork: Spot manual bottlenecks and design automations that cut them out, tighten internal communication, and produce clean reporting.
- Keep things healthy: Track down bugs, fix backend issues, improve performance, and raise the bar on codebase security.
- Document as you go: Keep system architecture, SOPs, and developer notes clear enough that the next person doesn't have to guess.
What we're looking for
Core experience:
- Solid professional experience across both frontend and backend development.
- Comfortable with Git and agile workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and clear written and verbal communication.
Technical skills:
- Strong JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Experience with React, Next.js, or a similar frontend framework.
- Experience with Node.js or comparable backend technologies.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong SQL/relational database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).
- Comfortable with Git and modern development workflows.
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud platforms and modern deployment pipelines.
- Hands-on work integrating AI components or building automated scripts.
- Experience with cloud-native databases like Supabase, PostgreSQL, or Firebase.
- Familiarity with CRMs, enterprise automation, and telephony tools like Twilio.
- Prior work on supply-chain, freight, workflow management, or logistics software.
